The final nominees for the 45th Annual CMA Awards will be announced the morning of September 6 in two different cities and involve five different artists. Jake will also perform his current hit single, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”
The announcement will shift to Nashville later that morning where Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will announce the finalists in seven more categories during a press conference at the Ryman Auditorium. Following their announcement, the JaneDear girls will announce nominees for the 2011 CMA Broadcast Award Personality and Radio Station of the Year in four categories as well as the nominees for the CMA National Broadcast Personality.

“Having Country Music’s most eagerly-anticipated announcements revealed on both ‘Good Morning America’ and on the Ryman stage, where the CMA Awards were first held, is a great way to start the morning,” Steve Moore, CMA Chief Executive Officer, said. “We appreciate the support of our partners including ABC, Gaylord Entertainment and Premiere Radio Network in presenting the CMA nominations to the public, and we look forward to ‘Country Music’s Biggest Night’ on Nov. 9.”
The CMA Awards will air on ABC on November 9 at 8/7 CT. CMA’s official radio partner, Premiere Radio Network, will carry the Awards and Broadcast Award nominations live to Country Radio.
