Rascal Flatts is in the process of Becoming ‘fashion designers’

Rascal Flatts is in the process of adding ‘fashion designers’ to their resumes. The band, who has promoted JC Penny’s American Living clothing brand in the past, has been considering their own clothing line for a while and plans are now moving forward to make it a reality.
“We’re right now in the design phase but it’s definitely something we want to do,” Jay DeMarcus said. “We’re looking for the right partner to help us implement those things right now.”
The band is known for looking stylish on the red carpet. They give credit to their stylist, John Murphy, for helping them look their best and also as serving as inspiration for their clothing line.
“[He] has come up with some concepts and some lines that are individually unique for the three of us and we’re really excited about the possibilities and we’ve just now started pitching the ideas to some different kinds of partners that would make sense for us to implement this,” Jay said.
Rascal Flatts will take their style to the CMA Awards stage where they are scheduled to perform with both Natasha Bedingfield and Lionel Richie. They will kick off their winter That Out Tour in January.
