Taylor Swift To Be Launching Her New Perfume “Wonderstruck" This Fall

Tim McGraw, Faith Hill Shania and Shakia all have fragrances and now, so does Taylor Swift.  Unlike Tim, Faith Shania and Shakia, Taylor has bypassed the obvious move to simply name her perfume “Taylor.”  Instead, she’s going with “Wonderstruck.”
On the motivation behind launching a fragrance, Taylor had this to say on her website, “Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories.  Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you relive a moment in time.”
Taylor goes on to share the inspiration behind the scent’s name, which comes from the song “Enchanted” on her Speak Now album. “I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song ‘Enchanted’ about the first time you meet someone.  A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you.  It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”
Taylor has partnered with Elizabeth Arden to launch the fragrance which will debut in stores nationwide this October.  Taylor created the scent with perfumer Olivier Gillotin of Givauden.  The announcement on Taylor’s website describes the new scent as a “gourmand floral; a charming and sparkling surprise of vibrant fruits, kissed by a bouquet of soft petals and a touch of sweet indulgence.”
The frangrance will come packaged in a deep purple bottle adorned with antiqued gold charms of a Moravian star, dove and birdcage.
